The Cows are one of my favorite bands

Pretty much the sleaziest, grittiest, dirtiest, bunch of degenerates to actually give a shit about making music. The sleaziest, grittiest, dirtiest rock music ever. Even the guitar sounds like the floor of a dive bar.

They were on Minnesota's iconic Amphetamine Reptile label, home to some of the most amazing ear-filth ever put on record. The Cows were contemporaries with The Melvins, Unsane, and Boss Hog, and managed to out-filth all of them. Don't believe me?
